BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Taylor County, Commissioner Patterson graduated from Taylor County High in 1972. Commissioner Patterson is a certified Advance County Commissioner; she was certified by the Florida Association of Counties.
Commissioner Patterson has served as a Board of Directors for the Florida Association
of Counties and as Vice-Chairperson on the Rural Caucus
Committee. She has served as Chairperson of the Board of County
Commission, as a Vice Chairperson of the Board of County
Commission, as a member of Taylor County School Readiness
Coalition, and as a Board member of Taylor County Development
Authority. She is Chairperson of the Transportation for
Disadvantaged Committee also.
Commissioner Patterson is a mother and grandmother. She and her husband Willie Patterson are members of New Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church. With a degree in banking and finance; she has 21 years of experience in working in banking and finance industry. She is conservative with tax revenue dollars.
Commissioner Patterson philosophy is: Faith, Commitment, Integrity, Honesty, Involvement and Education these are the cornerstones of my success.
