FRIENDS OF THE TAYLOR COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY BOOK SALE
Upcoming book sale will be April 19, 2008 - 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Donations of used books, magazines, etc. are now being accepted at the Library for the ongoing Book Sale located in the library.

Membership is open to everyone who is interested in supporting their community library.
Advocacy
Friends play an important role advocating on behalf of the library at the local, state and national levels. Friends are proactive in providing increased knowledge and understanding of library services to local citizens and leaders of the community .These efforts are critical in order to ensure that the library will receive the funding necessary to serve the needs of our growing community.
Volunteer Opportunities
In addition to providing assistance at the library. Friends may be recruited to work on book sales and other fundraising events.
Outreach Programs
The Friends raise money through memberships, book sales and donations to provide outreach programs that include the following: author visits, art exhibits, storytelling festivals, tutoring, and business and computer workshops.
