Mobile Home Abandoned
   

Abandoned mobile homes fall under the definition of abandoned property (see below) in Taylor County Ordinance 2003-10 and are subject to the following:

All abandoned property defined herein is hereby declared to be a public nuisance, the abatement of which pursuant the police power is hereby declared to be necessary for the health, welfare and safety of the residents of Taylor County.

 

Abandoned Property:

All abandoned property defined herein is hereby declared to be a public nuisance, the abatement of which pursuant to the police power is hereby declared to be necessary for the health, welfare and safety of the residents of Taylor County. Abandoned property includes the following:

1. Means wrecked or derelict property, which has been left abandoned and unprotected from the elements for more than 90 days.
2. Substantially damaged buildings
3. Substantially damaged mobile homes.
4. Wrecked, inoperative, or partially dismantled motor vehicles, trailers, boats, machinery, refrigerators, washing machines, plumbing fixtures, furniture, etc.
