Variances
Variances to provisions of the Junk and debris ordinance are provided for in Section XVI of ordinance 2003-10 and are allowed as follows:
The Board of County Commissioners of Taylor County hereby specifically recognizes its power to grant a variance hereby reserves the power to grant a variance from this ordinance upon a showing by the property owner involved that the abandoned property which has been "noticed" has more than nominal salvage value to said owner or the owner has some other valid reason for keeping the property. The granting of such a variance by the Board may be made on such conditions and restrictions as the Board may decide depending on the particular case involved.
